Sally Pendlebury

Sally Pendlebury is a founder member of the Vellinger Quartet. Born in Britain and trained at London?s Guildhall School of Music and Drama(where she is now Professor of Cello and Chamber Music) and in D?sseldorf and Boston, she was a Shell/LSO laureate and winner of the Capital Radio Award. She is a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and has guest-led the cello sections of the Hall? Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Northern Sinfonia. Her colleagues in chamber-music have included Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Stephen Isserlis, Martin Roscoe and Bernard Greenhouse.
