Gillian Tingay

Gillian Tingay has performed concertos with the Budapest String Orchestra, the Northern Sinfonia, the Orchestra of St. John's, Smith Square, the Bournemouth Sinfonietta, the BBC Welsh and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a member of many ensembles with whom she has appeared in festivals including the City of London, Salisbury, Lichfield, Cricklade, King's Lynn and the Three Choirs Festival. Her CD debut on ASV with the flautist Anna Noakes received the prestigious Gramophone Critics Choice award, and recent concerto appearances included a performance of Mozart's Flute and Harp concerto with James Galway.
