Principal Cello appointment

The Fibonacci's cellist, Benjamin Hughes, has just been appointed principal cello of the BBC Concert Orchestra, a position which he will take up in the autumn of this year. Meanwhile, hear him and Kathron Sturrock start their series of Beethoven cello sonatas at St. Mary's, Putney on May 4th.
