Adrian read Veterinary Science and Music at Churchill College, Cambridge before further study at the Royal Academy of Music and in Berlin. He performs worldwide as the cellist in Composers Ensemble (winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society Chamber Group Award, 2002), Jane's Minstrels, Chamber Domaine and Touchwood Piano Quartet, and has recently received media attention for his research collaboration with neuroscientist Professor Alan Wing, bringing sports science technology into the Conservatoire.
Adrian is regularly invited to be Cello Professor for the National Youth Orchestra of GB, and is on the String Faculty at the Royal Academy of Music, London, where he is also Music and Science co-ordinator.
