As well as performing with the Fibonacci Sequence, Richard Skinner enjoys making music with other ensembles. As a contemporary music instrumentalist he plays regularly with Lontano and the Almeida Ensemble. He is a member of the London Chamber Orchestra and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. In 2006 he appeared as soloist with the London Mozart Players, and his album "Bassoon" on Deux-Elles records with the Fibonacci Sequence was released to
critical acclaim. He is currently a "featured artist" on the soundtrack of the film "The Bourne Ultimatum", music composed by John Powell and on Mike Leigh's 'Happy-go-Lucky'.
