Benjamin Nabarro has played world-wide as a soloist and chamber musician. He is violinist of the Olivier Ensemble, Wakeford Ensemble and the London Bridge Ensemble, a group combining chamber music and song, and is a regular guest of the Nash Ensemble and Fibonacci Sequence. He has made recordings on the Hyperion, Black Box and Merlin Classics labels. Benjamin plays regularly at numerous international festivals, including those of Cheltenham and the London BBC Proms, and further afield in Ponte-de-Lima, Portugal and Bullawayo, Zimbabawe. His duo partners include the pianists Philip Moore, Leslie Howard, and Daniel Tong. During recent years he has given concerto performances of works by Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Sibelius, Leighton and Piazzola. He has appeared as leader and director of the English Chamber Orchestra, and was recently invited to play the solo violin in Rimsky Korsakov's Sheherezade with the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Charles Dutoit.
