Musical collaboration brings magical ensemble playing.

Musical collaboration brings magical ensemble playing....members of the Fibonacci Sequence and the Fine Arts Quartet are sensational in the Quintessence series in Aachen......Julian Farrell, Yuko Inoue and Kathron Sturrock showed with their inspired, tonally integrated performance of three of Bruch's eight studies that this is music worthy of being heard....the exquisite pianist Kathron Sturrock came to the fore in the virtuoso piano part of Dohnanyi's sextet, although the tonal complexities of the score meant that the outstanding performance suffered from the acoustical problems of the hall....a perfect performance of Dvorak's quintet for strings in G, where Duncan McTier joined the Fine Arts Quartet, brought the concert to a close.
