"...dazzlingly good chamber ensemble…

'...rendered with the sensitivity we've come to expect from the Fibonacci Sequence'

The eight movements of The Quartet for the End of Time are based on an apocalyptic passage from the Book of Revelations, opening with the inquisitive clarinet and violin slurs of Liturgy of Crystal, before thunderous piano chords and stormy strings announce angelic arrivals in Vocalise, for the Angel who announces the End of Time. The mood gets more sombre and ruminative until the unison progression of Praise to the Immortality of Jesus, evoking the seven trumpets heralding the end of time. Its dark and solemn beauty is rendered with the sensitivity we've come to expect from the Fibonacci Sequence.
